TRAGEDY IN CANTON MS.
In light of these tragic slayings, IAJE is calling for Black communities and brown communities and immigrant communities to come together as one. Together we can keep each other safe. We must look at the larger picture: this was an act of violence perpetrated by one member of a vulnerable community against members of a vulnerable community. Rural people of color are under-resourced, under-protected, and under-served.
